Confused and reckless, I shimmied out of the window
Despite my restlessness I had no notion of where to go
I just started walking down a street that I never take
It wasn’t seconds before I lost my way

I have to say that I like to lose my direction
Every now and again, it’s like an endless deception
I always think I know what’s coming up down the road
But a detour frees my routine before redundancy will make me overload

I’ve got no goals in mind, just got these moments transitory
I can’t be ready for an end ‘cause I’m still building the story
I jump through these alleyways that navigate my mind
I just hope that I’m open enough to interpret the signs
